Do you like to think out of the box? Or do you prefer just clean cut? With these Spellbinders Clubs of the Month you can mix and match with this month’s collection and previous month’s collections. For thinking out of the box, I played around with my wax and wax seals to use them in different manners. Let’s go take a look at what came about.

I just love this month’s Glimmer selection. The Christmas lights remind me of when I was young and there weren’t tiny lights then, only the larger bulbs such as these. They were strong and vibrant and made the Christmas tree bright and cheery. This string of lights was easy to do and special with the foil that came with it. Everything sparkles. I colored the lights with alcohol markers from Altenew, cutting the panel to 5.5″ x 3.5″. I also cut the front piece of my card base to match. Inside, I added a 1″ strip of red metallic cardstock that also shows on the front. I do love the sparkle and shine.
This month’s sentiment of “Merry Christmas” also came with the lights plate. It was so easy to foil and cut this out multiple times with lots of different colors of foil…always nice to be prepared for more cards. On this card I used the red foil that would match the side metallic strip. The small red dots I used with leftover wax in my spoon — see more below.

If you don’t want to color the lights, this glimmer plate looks stunning in just gold! Then mounted on a gold piece of cardstock embossed with the regular embossing folder of the month. The green Merry Christmas goes with the homemade tree and green dots.

This is one of the Most Wonderful Times of the Year! We get to play with fall and early holiday products that just whet our whistle to do more. Put on a bit of Christmas music and it adds to the Joy. It was easy to use the 3D Embossing Folder of the Month on some red metallic cardstock. The relief of this is just beautiful with poinsettias, candy canes, and branches. I didn’t want to cover it all up. I took a glimmered branch from July’s Glimmer of the Month, adding it with the Wax Seal of this month to the front. The white embellishments I made with more wax –see below.
Here’s where things really got fun! Play with that wax! I created a green tree just by pouring the hot wax out in a (sort of) triangle shape. Then made lots of dots with some extra wax in the spoon. I also used just red and white wax and created two candy canes. I cut one of them in half so that they would cross but lay together better on the embossed card front. The sentiment on the candy cane card is from the July Glimmer of the month club.

And here’s my palette of wax play in the progress. I have lots of dots of varying sizes, colors, mixed colors, wax seal with different color inset, candy canes, tree, etc. The shapes could be endless. And all those dots became ornaments on the tree, and embellishments on the cards. LOTS of FUN!

I encourage you all to give this play time a try. It’s really easy and I bet you will come up with more intricate details too. I’m going to do the same and see what else I can do.
I hope you have enjoyed play time and also the final cards made with those products. Spellbinder Clubs are a tremendous value! You can order this month’s Club kits from the 6th-27th of the month…Still time to get these. Subscribe and you will get them automatically each month.
Thanks for visiting my page — hope you come again another time.
