Oh what FuN to play with some of the new August release stencils and dies from Spellbinders. Like my two friends above, I had a big smile on my face creating them. The snowmen were cut from white glitter paper. The big guy has four layers to him –two together to slightly shadow him and give him dimention. The little guy is full of activity as he sits on an action wobbler so he jiggles and dances. I wanted this to be bright and cheery cuz the smiles are saying “come play with me”.

This beauty is created by glimmer machine and stencils. The red ornament was from the Snowflake Ornament Stencil by Bibi Cameron. I used the stencil to create the red ball with Distress Lumberjack Plaid then used Tonic Shooting Stars Nuvo glimmer paste to add the snowflakes. On navy paper I used silver foil to add snowflakes to the background – turning the plate upside down to get a different look on each side of the back ground. For the ornament holders I used the stencil to put Versamark in then embossing power. The bow is also part of the stencil. Since I didn’t have dies I cut them out myself and popped them up with some foam tape and twine from my stash.

These little guys came all the way to the US from Scandinavia to send their love. They had their “picture” taken in front of the Northern Lights, imagine that! Lights are created with finger and Simon Hurley’s Lunar Paste with some drops of white pigment on them from stars. Metallic paper for bodies and even Lunar paste on the moveable backs of his hands so he can give you that big hug. Gnomes for any season and any time can be created with this cute set of dies.
These were lots of fun to create and I hope they put a smile on your face too.
Thanks for visiting! Come back in a day or so for more inspiration with other new products.
Hugs,
Penny
